1975年に丸善株式会社へ入社。事業部門における数々の役職を歴任した後に、同社eリソースセンター長兼eプロダクツ部長に就任。我が国の国立大学及び私立大学コンソーシアムの要請を受け、海外大手出版社や国際学会と外国雑誌やeジャーナルの一括導入に対するパッケージ創案と共に価格交渉を一手に担う。団体利用でのコスト削減や、IP認証の活用など、利便性の高い利用システムを提供してきた。
2001年からはMaruzen International Co.,Ltd (N.Y. USA)にて、米国にある現地法人の経営担当役員として事業推進を行い、ニューヨークを拠点に英国・ドイツ・フランス・北欧などの版元や学会とデジタルコンテンツの協業基盤を構築する。この時期には、多くの米国人雇用者と共に事業の礎を築くことに成功する。2008年からは丸善株式会社を離れ、一般財団法人医学情報センターのグローバル・ライセンス・ディレクターとして、数々の転載許諾などの申請処理を行う。
各製薬企業の著作権リテラシー向上の一翼を担い、図表やガイドラインからの抜書きや各種スケールなど特殊な使用申請依頼にも誠実に対応し、抜きんでたデータ使用の再現率に高い評価を得る。また、クライアントである製薬企業の著作権担当者向けにセミナーの講師を務めた。
同時に、公益社団法人関西経済連合会にて、関西デジタルアーカイブ構想プロジェクトの顧問に就任。
1300年の歴史を持つ奈良の寺社仏閣の国宝や全景等を中心に、デジタルコンテンツの作成を行う。関経連を代表する企業の役員を筆頭に、経営幹部と共に慶應義塾大学メディアセンター本部の協働を得て、国立奈良先端科学技術大学院大学の協力でデータを超大容量サーバーに格納し後世に残す。
